Joe Blaszynski is an experienced professional with over
two decades of experience in working with senior level
executives to implement learning solutions in the
professional services and association arenas. He has
extensive experience in meeting/event planning and
training program management with a wide variety of
clients.
Joe joined St. Charles Consulting Group following five
years in the association management arena. As a Program
Manager for three years with SmithBucklin Corporation,
the nation’s largest association management company, Joe
worked with the Boards of Directors and Education
Committees for several business trade associations,
healthcare associations and technology user groups to
develop and implement creative, innovative learning
solutions for their members. These included large annual
conferences, member group meetings and synchronous and
asynchronous online learning. Joe’s clients included
Americas’ SAP Users Group (ASUG), Joint Users of Siemens
Technologies – United States (JUST-US), SHARE (An IBM
Users Group), Society of Incentive & Travel Executives
(SITE) and Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA).
Most recently, Joe spent two years as the Director of
Operations for the International Association of Defense
Counsel (IADC), an international association of civil
defense attorneys and corporate insurance executives.
With IADC, Joe worked with the Board of Directors to
implement their strategic initiatives and manage
association annual programs and Foundation events.
Prior to SmithBucklin, Joe was a Program Manager with
Arthur Andersen where he was responsible for the
planning and implementation of training programs to
ensure successful delivery, developing and improving
processes, and implementing continuous improvement
initiatives for the Business Consulting and Audit &
Business Advisory divisions. As a Manager with the
Program Management Office (PMO), Joe helped standardize
project management processes and systems, providing
structure, consistency and integration across all Arthur
Andersen projects. Joe’s responsibilities included
oversight of training development and delivery project
reporting and the development of project management
skills amongst Arthur Andersen Performance & Learning
staff.
