Dean Davenport

Specialized Professional Competence
Dean is an experienced professional with over fifteen years of financial management and accounting experience. He has worked in the CFO/Controller position over the last eleven years servicing a broad range of companies in both their line of business and their size of operation.

Experience/Background
Dean joined St. Charles Consulting Group following 11 years in various accounting positions with three vastly different organizations. Most recently, Dean spent six years as the CFO for JLN Management, LLC whose member firms included two technology consulting firms and a property management firm. Dean worked alongside the leadership team as the company grew and prospered through mergers and acquisitions. The company is currently the leader in providing technology consulting services to small, regional financial institutions in the Chicago area.

Prior to JLN Management, Dean spent two years as the CFO with Dental Health Associates of Illinois, Inc. The dental group was a large contractor with the State of Illinois and was a preferred provider of dental services to state employees. During his two year tenure with Dental Health Associates of Illinois, Inc., Dean was instrumental in growing the company, ultimately positioning it as a target acquisition for a larger dental management group.

Dean started his career in accounting as an employee of Arthur Andersen. Dean’s last position with Andersen was as the Controller for the Performance and Learning group in the Worldwide Training Center, St. Charles, Illinois. In this role he was responsible for financial reporting, analysis and budgeting for Andersen’s global training budget.

Education/Professional Achievements
Dean holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting from Aurora University and a Bachelors degree in Operations Management from Northern Illinois University.
