For the past four years, as an independent consultant,
Debbie has worked with clients on creating sustainable
service systems, human resources plans, training, and
project development. Prior to starting her practice, she
gained 20 years of business experience with the Walt
Disney Company. She held various positions within the
company including: starting as frontline employee in
Quick Service, spending several years in Human Resources
management, and completing her tenure as Director of
Operations for Theme Parks & Resorts. During her six
years as an executive within the company she is proud to
have been a part of the following:
- Led cross-functional executive team to develop
initial four-year master plan for human resources
for Hong Kong Disneyland, a 5,000 + employee base
project, including initial research gathering in
Hong Kong.
- As part of the executive team, led set up
initial operations for $800 million expansion which
generated highest guest satisfaction ratings for
employee performance in initial year as compared to
all WDW theme parks.
- Served on executive-level, human resources
steering committee charged with realigning training
delivery for entry-level through executive-level
management, impacting over 8,000 + management.
Process improvements involved classes offered,
experiential learning, transfer of skills to the
work environment, and e-learning.
- Developed strategy for improving employee
knowledge of performance and Guest Service
expectations. Program was implemented across all
domestic theme parks.
As part of her independent practice, Debbie has
worked with corporate clients, governmental agencies,
associations, and non-profits on several key
initiatives, including:
- Through a partnership arrangement, managed
operational transition efforts for a major
government expansion in Washington, D.C., which
included organizational development, budget
development, policy determination, and operational
planning for this multi-million dollar expansion.
- Led the three year strategic plan development
for a large non-profit organization in Central
Florida, which included creating alignment with the
Board of Directors and Executive Staff regarding
future direction and aligning performance planning
and compensation plans to correlate with the
strategic plan.
- Took a short-term leadership role as the Vice
President of Operations for a leisure company for
which she provided operational leadership for 16
properties in the company’s portfolio.

and Aquarium Association, American Physical Therapist
Association, American Red Cross of Central Florida,
Darden Restaurants, Department of Defense, Hard Rock
Park, Health Central, Hewitt Associates, Las Vegas
Springs Preserve, MS&T, National Park Service, Quest,
Inc., Skanska USA Civil, Southern Healthcare Management,
and the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center.
She is a graduate of the Crummer Graduate School of
Business Management Program/Rollins College and the
Human Resources Development Program (SHRM)/University of
Central Florida. She is a member of the CFC-ASTD and
Women’s Leadership Network of Orlando.
