Kerrie Halmi

Kerrie Halmi is a Consultant with St Charles Consulting, based in Oakland California. She led Halmi Performance Consulting for over seven years. Kerrie specializes in increasing women’s success in business through facilitation, coaching and speaking. She appeared in the Wall Street Journal in the article “Grooming Women for the Top” .

Kerrie has nearly twenty years of experience in the Human Resources field, with extensive experience in coaching, training and team facilitation. Client companies include eBay, SAP, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Kaiser Permanente, John Muir Medical Center, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Camico Insurance, the City of Oakland, and PacifiCare.

Examples of her work include:

-Developing and leading a 9 month women’s leadership program, combining program delivery, one-on-one executive coaching and facilitation of peer coaching. Results included 95% of participants achieving the career goals they set for themselves at the beginning of the program, including 100% of those who wanted to get promotions.

-Leading a department of attorneys in a series of interactive team-buildings to develop standards of behavior, increasing collaboration within the team and extending to the rest of the organization.

-Creating a coaching culture in an organization through delivering training to all management levels, from the CEO to line supervisors, and following up with one-on-one coaching to all participants.

Prior to founding Halmi Performance Consulting, she served in various executive positions in Human Resources for the Nature Conservancy, KB Homes and General Mills.

Kerrie received her MBA from the University of Michigan Business School (Ross) with an emphasis on Human Resources and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Illinois. She is certified in coaching with Corporate Coach University International (CCUI) and is certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). She is a member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) and the Women’s Council at the University of Michigan Business School (Ross).
