Since 1996, John has been a professional speaker who works with organizations who want to develop leaders of substance and cultures of genuine service. He has addressed audiences in numerous countries and cultures around the globe including Europe, Asia, Australia, and throughout the United States. John brings his experience to bear partnering with St Charles Consulting Group (StCCG) in one-on-one coaching with top executives on their presentation skills. John’s clients benefit from his energy, enthusiasm and talent to help them reach and attain their goals.

Experience/Background
John brings together the unique combination of the business insight of a CPA with the human insight of 18 years of human resources and worldwide recruiting roles at a large accounting firm. John’s varied experiences in one of the largest professional services firms gave him a front row seat to understand the challenges and opportunities that organizations and individuals face day-to-day.

John spent 18 years of his career at Arthur Andersen developing his business skills as a CPA by working with clients as an auditor. Later, John re-focused his energy from the firm’s numbers to its people and spent 14 years in human resources, including worldwide recruiting responsibilities for Andersen. During this time, John developed and delivered many courses and workshops, including Andersen’s highly successful Transitions Workshop for executive hires. He also served on the firm’s worldwide Training Advisory Board for Practice Management Services. This Board was responsible for providing training to over 20,000 Andersen employees.

Education/Professional Achievements
John is the author of a best selling business book titled Silent Alarm, a parable of hope for busy professionals. He is also the author of a just released book titled Good to the Core: Building Value with Values. The National Speakers Association has recognized John with the designation of Certified Speaking Professional, the highest earned designation in the profession. It is held by less than 10% of the members of the International Speakers Federation. In addition, John is a Past-President of the National Speakers Association’s Illinois Chapter. John holds a BBA degree from the University of Memphis.
