Specialized Professional Competence
Kathy is an accomplished, versatile professional with expertise in leading highly skilled technology-oriented teams; managing large, complex projects; and helping clients analyze and streamline operational processes. From understanding user needs and identifying requirements, to overseeing the communication and support of end products, she has been hands-on in all aspects of software development for 30 years. She has a solid understanding of how learning technologies can be used to enable learning and to create an environment where the integration of people, processes and technology combine to maximize the learning investment.

Experience/Background
Kathy has worked with clients on a variety of projects, leveraging her backgrounds in software development, learning technologies, process analysis and design, and project management. Kathy has facilitated several clients in the analysis and streamlining of their processes. She then worked with those clients to design and develop an internet portal providing employees with access to the detailed steps and tools associated with each task. She has managed the design and development of several learning solutions for both classroom and self-study based learning and she has assisted with the selection of a Learning Management System for a pharmaceutical company.

Prior to becoming a Director with St. Charles Consulting Group (StCCG), Kathy was employed at Arthur Andersen in the Learning and Personal Growth organization as the Director of Learning Technologies, and earlier in her career, in the Tax Technology group. While there, Kathy focused on product design and development, team leadership and coaching, strategic thinking, and process redesign. She directed the implementation of learning products such as Docent (LMS) and Centra (virtual classroom tool) at a global enterprise level. She co-led an effort to reinvent how training was designed, developed and delivered, creating frameworks and platforms for how technology could be used in learning and knowledge sharing. Kathy also led the successful re-engineering of Andersen’s key tax software product development process resulting in significant savings to the firm.

Education/Professional Achievements
Kathy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Management from the DeVry University.
