Specialized Professional Competence
With over 20 years experience in broadcast communications, corporate communications and training services, Laura provides a valuable and unique client service vantage point. In recent years, Laura has focused more specifically in the areas of learning design and development, organizational change and communication, and overall project management initiatives. Her varied background and “hands-on” approach bring a distinct perspective and creative concepts to the table.

Experience/Background
As one of the original team members of the St. Charles Consulting Group, Laura has had an opportunity to lend her expertise to countless clients and projects. Laura spent several months directing the design and deployment of an on-boarding program for an innovative retail and entertainment start-up venture. Working with a professional services firm, Laura also designed, developed and delivered numerous sessions of a two-day program on gender work-style differences and sensitivities. Most recently, Laura directed a client team of professionals in developing a communication strategy and plan, stakeholder communications and all learning interventions for the implementation and deployment of the organization’s US learning management system.

Laura held several senior management positions in Arthur Andersen’s learning organization. Laura established her expertise in learning by coordinating the functional customization of a learning management system and leading the implementation of its launch for a large-scale workforce. Laura supported the transformation of the learning organization through strategic change efforts and targeted communication planning. Further, she project-managed the launch and communication plan for a $4.5M global competency/ performance management program. Laura also directed a team of 30 people providing integrated learning delivery services to Andersen’s 300+ offices worldwide. Before Andersen, Laura worked as a Program Director for Orbis Broadcast Group.

Education/Professional Achievements
Laura holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Public Relations from Elmhurst College. Laura is a member of ASTD, the Chicagoland Learning Leaders, and is a literacy volunteer for the Literacy Volunteers of Fox Valley, St. Charles, Illinois.
