Mary Jo has over twenty years experience as Manager, Organizational Development Consultant, Corporate Trainer and Executive Coach. Mary Jo’s forte is coaching results-driven executives to enhance their performance by sharpening their emotional intelligence skills. Utilizing an appreciative inquiry approach, she focuses on what is working well for leaders and helps them leverage their unique strengths to maximize productivity. Client feedback and referrals consistently recognize Mary Jo as an influential leader with insight, enthusiasm, integrity and clear focus on superior performance.

Experience/Background
Prior to partnering with the St Charles Consulting Group (StCCG), Mary Jo was an internal Executive Coach and Manager at Andersen Consulting (Accenture). There she coached multiple technology partners from around the world, helping them shift the culture by becoming not only managers, but coaches in the workplace. She utilized a coaching model of assessment, goal-setting, observation, feedback, and performance-based coaching.

Mary Jo has had many successful coaching engagements. She coached a Partner in global banking to demonstrate greater “executive presence”, which enhanced the Partner’s team performance and gave her increased credibility with internal and external customers. Mary Jo coached a Chief Operating Officer in the energy industry to sharpen his emotional intelligence skills so that during a turnaround he worked much more professionally with others, formerly a real weakness for him. She also coached a Chief Operations Officer in healthcare to address budgetary issues by forming strategic alliances with key groups of cardiologists, resulting in the organization being in the black for the first time in two years.

Mary Jo has coached clients at Director, Partner and C-Suite executive levels spanning a variety of industries including aerospace, consulting, higher education, federal government, financial services, healthcare, insurance, law, publishing, real estate, technology and telecommunications. She is a frequently requested facilitator of corporate training programs, working with multi-level groups to accelerate their teamwork and performance.

Education/Professional Achievements
Mary Jo earned an MS summa cum laude in Management and Organization Behavior from Benedictine University, Lisle, IL, and a BA in Education and French from Dominican University, River Forest, IL. She is a Master Certified Coach, credentialed by both the Coaches Training Institute (CPCC) and the International Coach Federation (MCC). Mary Jo is a qualified interpreter of the Myers-Briggs, FIRO-B, Team Management System’s 360 assessment, and the Hay Group’s 360 Emotional and Social Competence Inventory.
