Laura Oswald

As a member with the St. Charles Consulting Group, Laura Oswald’s nearly 20 years experience in communication, marketing and training services provides a valuable and critical component within the emergent company.

Over the course of the company’s first year, Laura has provided client services in the areas of learning needs assessment, process re-engineering, communication planning and project management.

Prior to joining the St. Charles Consulting Group, Laura was employed by Andersen’s Learning and Personal Growth organization and held positions in both the Marketing and Communication and Training Services groups. Her areas of expertise include communication planning, training management, project management and meeting facilitation, and public relations.

As a senior manager, Laura liaised with executive management to develop communication and marketing strategies and manage promotional events. Key accomplishments include:

  • Coordinated the functional customization of a learning management system and led the implementation of its pilot launch for 3000 users.
  • Supported the transformation of the learning organization through strategic change efforts and targeted communication planning.
  • Project managed the launch and communication plan for a $4.5M global competency/ performance management program.
  • Established communication protocol for both internal and external Andersen learning audiences.

During her Andersen tenure, Laura also directed a team of 30 people providing integrated learning delivery services to the Learning and Personal Growth organization, as well as Andersen’s 300+ offices worldwide. In this role, Laura focused much of her time in business development, process creation and improvement and training management systems integration.

Before Andersen, Laura worked as a Program Director for Orbis Broadcast Group. In this role she consulted with clientele to determine short-and long-term promotional strategies. Additionally, Laura managed large-scale projects, contract negotiations, budgets, vendor procurement, and data management.

At Orbis, Laura worked primarily with healthcare associations and pharmaceutical companies on their promotional and product launch campaigns. Her clientele at Orbis included The American Heart Association, The American Medical Association, Arizona Heart Institute, College of American Pathologists, Bristol-Myers, and St. Jude’s Hospital.
