A large, retail, hospitality, entertainment start-up
StCCG was engaged by a large commercial developer to
design a workforce strategy, full Human Resource
operations and complete build out of the employee
developmental lifecycle. The start-up was being designed
and developed to offer a new level of both employee and
customer experience in the areas of upscale retail,
hospitality and entertainment and was to go from a
start-up of a couple hundred people to eventually
employing 50,000 people over the course of 2 years.
StCCG designed all aspects of the workforce program and
managed a team of approximately 50 HR and Learning
professionals from 6 consulting firms in building out
the program.
One of the core components of our workforce design was
to create an on-boarding and on-going enculturation
program that would ensure the success of the employees,
minimize their time to competency and provide a customer
experience unlike any others in these industries. We
created a training curriculum that was focused on
employee engagement and customer service/satisfaction.
A large hotel and resort management company
StCCG is currently working with a large hotel and resort
management company to redesign their employee selection
processes and train interviewers at properties across
the United States. Our team worked with the leadership
of the management company and with their parent company,
a national real estate organization to identify
competencies critical to the success of their company.
After defining and vetting the competencies with
leadership, StCCG lead a multi-location project team to
design a competency based approach to hiring that could
be successful across a wide variety of properties.
In addition to collaborating on change management,
communication and implementation planning, StCCG
developed two training programs; Competency Based Hiring
and Critical Behavior Interviewing. Our team is now in
the process of training a team of experienced HR leaders
to roll the training out nation-wide.
