With more than twelve years experience, Shelley specializes in designing and delivering management training sessions, as well as developing and implementing communication, performance and change management strategies and tactics. Shelley’s expertise in training design and delivery is evidenced in the many leadership and management courses she has designed and facilitated.
Experience/Background
Shelley has consulted on many types of engagements. She has designed and instructed professional development courses targeted towards varying levels of employee and management experience. She has developed performance management processes, aligning performance metrics with strategic objectives and training processes. Shelley has designed competency models and competency based training programs. Further, she has developed and implemented change management strategy, including communication programs to manage internal and external information needs through significant restructuring and change initiatives.
Prior to working with St. Charles Consulting Group (StCCG), Shelley was employed at BearingPoint and Arthur Andersen. During these eight years, she developed and facilitated visioning and strategic planning sessions for multiple clients including a global financial markets organization and a Fortune 100 automotive manufacturer. She served as a change management and communications coach and advisor to executive leadership in differing businesses and industries. Shelley implemented performance management systems and processes for several clients and developed and implemented organizational transformation strategy. She developed the Business Consulting practice’s change enablement communication methodology, model and toolkit, which was used as a firm standard.
Education/Professional Achievements
Shelley holds a Masters degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University, and a Bachelors degree in Communications from Washington State University. Shelley has been a guest speaker at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, DePaul University Business School, and Healthcare Management Systems, Inc. Users Conference.
